John Cena will be the special guest host for the Payback Premium Live Event.
The news was announced on the September 1st SmackDown, where the 16-time World Champion opened the show.
Cena acknowledged how he is grateful to the fans for supporting him for more than 20 years, then announcing that he will be the host of Payback.
Cena was then interrupted by Jimmy Uso, who has not been seen on the blue brand for 2 weeks. The crowd were not happy about the interruption, chanting that they wanted Jey instead.
Uso asked why John Cena why he was here, as the fans wanted to see him instead. Jimmy Uso referenced his brother, stating that he didn’t want his brother to turn out like Cena.
Cena responded that the wrong Uso quit, with Jimmy Uso trying to then hit a sneak attack but was caught with an Attitude Adjustment.
