John Cena Match Announced For WWE Clash In Paris

John Cena will be in action at Clash in Paris on August 31 as his latest match has been confirmed.

Appearing in the opening segment on the August 8 episode of SmackDown, the 17-time World Champion appeared live less than one week after losing the title to Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam. After addressing the fans in Toronto and referencing the Brock Lesnar attack that closed out SummerSlam, Cena noted that he was ready to take on all comers in the final few months of his retirement tour.

As it appeared that the promo segment was about to come to an end, Cena was interrupted by Logan Paul, who laid down the challenge to face Cena in France. Paul and Drew McIntyre then beat down Cena before Cody Rhodes made the save. A tag team match also took place in the main event of the show, which ended in DQ when Paul hit a low blow on Cena.

With no more European shows announced in 2025, Clash in Paris and potentially the fallout episode of Raw the next night will likely be the final time that Cena appears and competes on the continent.
