Joe Hendry has once again become a talking point in the wrestling world.
With a talent for going viral thanks to his social media presence, catchy theme song and parody videos, the TNA star has been on a meteoric rise in the wrestling world throughout 2024 with multiple appearances on WWE programming and a main event match against then NXT Champion Ethan Page at No Mercy. However, despite his popularity, one fan did not see things the same way and made the bizarre comment on social media of “Kinda crazy how fast Joe Hendry fell off the radar.”
Taking notice of the fan, Hendry responded with “Kinda crazy how poorly that tweet will age in about 4 months.” Fans have noted that the Royal Rumble is around 4 months away, leading to speculation that the Scottish star could be an entrant in the match. With the TNA talent exchange ongoing and with Jordynne Grace appearing in the 2023 Women’s Royal Rumble match, a Hendry entry is not impossible. It should also be noted that Hendry has definitely not “fell off the radar” as he will be challenging Nic Nemeth for the TNA World Championship in the main event of Bound For Glory on October 26th.
Joe Hendry Contract Update
In a follow-up report by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, Hendry “looks to be a focal point” in TNA throughout 2025 despite the buzz concerning his rumoured Royal Rumble entry. Additionally, Hendry is under contract with TNA until late 2025.
