Jim Ross Provides Health Update

Jim Ross has revealed that he will be absent from AEW TV for a few more weeks.

Ross recently revealed on his podcast that he will be stepping away from the AEW commentary desk to allow his leg to heal, as flying is making the issue worse.

On the latest episode of Grilling JR, the AEW announcer revealed that he will remain off TV for a few more weeks before assessing what the next steps will be:

“I’m pretty good, Conrad. Had a busy week at the doctors’, and trying to get all these little things taken care of. They’re not little things if you let them go. So anyway, I’m getting better, I think. Still gonna be off work for a few more weeks, and then we’ll just move on, and hopefully it’ll work out. I had a long doctor’s meeting yesterday, over two hours. You know how it goes. Getting old is the sh*ts,”

Not looking to rush things, Ross looks to return when he is fully healed, with Tony Khan being very understanding about the condition of the veteran announcer.

Features of Wrestling would like to continue to wish Jim Ross a full and speedy recovery.

H/t to Fightful.
