Jey Uso has confirmed which champion he will be facing at WrestleMania 41 in April.
Kicking off the February 10th episode of WWE Raw, Uso once again made his way through the crowd and sent the Nashville fans into a frenzy with the whole arena Yeeting along with him. With the fans cheering for an encore, Uso’s music hit again and the number one contender made his way onto the announce table. However, the celebrations were cut off by World Heavyweight Champion Gunther, who swept Uso’s legs from under him before assaulting the former Intercontinental Champion in the ring, warning Uso throughout not to choose him as his Mania opponent.
As Gunther walked away, Uso grabbed the microphone and confirmed that he would face the World Heavyweight Champion at WrestleMania. An irate Gunther stormed to the ring and the brawl resumed before security separated them both.
Prior to his decision, Uso also made an appearance on SmackDown to tease a match with Cody Rhodes on The Grandest Stage. As a result of Uso’s decision, Rhodes will defend the WWE Championship against the winner of the Elimination Chamber at WrestleMania 41.
