How Much Is Las Vegas Paying WWE For WrestleMania 42?

The cost to bring WWE WrestleMania 42 to the city of Las Vegas has been revealed.

As is now common knowledge among fans, in order for a city to host WWE’s biggest show of the year, the local authority needs to place a bid to the pro wrestling company, which may also include other financial incentives.

In a report by LVSportsBiz, the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) board is intending to pay WWE $6 million to bring the show back to Sin City for the second consecutive year. The payment is expected to be approved at the next meeting on Wednesday, November 12.

The report also adds that another major event scheduled to take place in Vegas in 2026, the F1 Grand Prix, will see the board spend $20 million in sponsorships, and a further $1.25 million on tickets for contacts and “customers.”

The head of the LVCVA, Steve Hill, is said to be a huge fan of WrestleMania and is delighted to bring the show back to the Nevada city in April next year.

WrestleMania 42 Sees Return To Las Vegas

WWE heavily touted the success of WrestleMania 41 when all was said and done in April 2025. Smashing all financial and viewership records, the event was the biggest in company history by every metric.

Although it was officially announced back in February that New Orleans would be hosting the event in 2026, the company pivoted and instead confirmed that they would be returning to Vegas for the second year in a row. It was later reported that the reason for the unprecedented change was that the company felt that they would be unable to achieve the same level of financial success if they held the show in New Orleans.

Prior to tickets going on general sale, fans were given an insight into how much the most expensive seats would cost.

In 2027, WrestleMania will take place outside of North America for the first time in company history, as it will air live from Saudi Arabia.
