Hikaru Shida Wins AEW Women’s Championship

A major title change took place on the 200th episode of AEW Dynamite.

Hikaru Shida defeated Toni Storm to become the new AEW Women’s Champion, now becoming a two time holder of the title, with Storm being the only other wrestler to hold the gold twice.

The match took place in the main event of the show, with Shida going it alone, while Strom was accompanied to ringside by The Outcasts.

Shida was not phased by The Outcasts, taking control early in the matchup. Saraya and Ruby Soho would provide interference on multiple occasions, giving the advantage back to Storm.

The match would end when Saraya slid a kendo stick into the ring, with Storm begging Shida to strike her to get disqualified. As the referee was distracted by removing the weapon, Storm used the spray paint onto Shida and hit the Storm Zero, but only getting a 2 count.

Shida then quickly rolled up Storm to win the match and the championship.

Also on the 200th episode of Dynamite, RVD made a shock appearance and the first match was announced for All In.
