Former WWE United States Champion LA Knight looks set to be feuding with the top stars on the opposing brand, according to multiple reports.
After being unsuccessful in the 2025 Money in the Bank match and not in the King of the Ring semi-finals, Knight will not be a part of the World Championship picture heading into SummerSlam. However, despite the losses, The Megastar has remained one of the most popular acts on SmackDown as he consistently receives one of the biggest reactions each week.
Recent weeks have seen Knight show up on WWE Raw, despite being signed to the SmackDown roster. On the June 16th Raw, the former United States Champion interfered in the main event to allow Jey Uso to pin Bronson Reed and advance in the King of the Ring tournament.
Knight has been caught in the crosshairs of the Seth Rollins faction in recent weeks, which also has Bron Breakker and Reed as members. As initially reported by WrestleVotes Radio, company sources are looking to have Knight permanently switch to Monday nights moving forward:
“According to those within the company, we are told more than a handful of people are advocating for LA Knight to be moved to the Raw brand in the near future as his presence on Netflix could be viewed as something of a refreshing change.”
LA Knight May Not Be Exclusive To WWE Raw
Following up on the WrestleVotes report, Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Knight is set to feud with the Paul Heyman faction, but will not be exclusive to Raw as there is no brand split in place:
“On LA Knight to Raw, he will be and is doing a program with the Paul Heyman group and Raw guys and Smackdown guys aren’t strict at all. But no move to Raw right now as a home base, but he’ll be on the show at times.”
A WWE Draft has previously taken place around this time of the year to refresh the rosters and call up stars from NXT. However, at the time of writing, there has been no talk of a draft taking place in 2025.
