Lincoln-based promotion Fight Factory Wrestling has announced the first matches set to take place at the Rise of Champions show on August 23.
Following his victory over former tag partner Reece at the Return to the Drill show, Rogan was attacked by Erin Jacobs, who made his return to FFW after an extended absence. Rogan was attacked by Jacobs a second time at Mayhem following the now former champion’s loss to Joey Slade. Picking up things where they left off at One NK, Rogan vs. Jacobs has been announced for the next show at The Drill.
New Heavyweight Champion Joey Slade has constantly been reminding fans that he is the champion with clips on social media. Although Slade missed Blood and Iron, the champion will be returning at Rise of Champions to defend the title for the first time. Slade’s opponent will be someone whom he has previously defeated, Damien Valentine.
With the Tag Team Championships vacated due to injury, the promotion has announced that new champions will be crowned on the show. The previous champions were The Maulers. One half of the Maulers, Gunnarsson, will be looking to regain gold as he will face Strap for the Anarchy Championship.
On August 13, more matches were confirmed for the show. As well as the aforementioned Anarchy Title match, Visage and Kiya will face each other for the Ladies Championship. Although the reigning champion is currently Lana Austin, there has been no announcement that the title has been vacated.
