Eric Bischoff will not be having an extended run in WWE.
The past week has been a busy one for the WWE Hall of Famer. Beginning with a cameo appearance on the December 3rd episode of NXT to facilitate a face-to-face segment between Trick Williams and Ridge Holland, Bischoff was also in attendance for the MLW One Shot show later in the week, which also saw the former Raw General Manager serve as the authority figure for the night.
While some fans may have seen this as a sign of things to come and even more appearances for Bischoff in wrestling, the Hall of Famer has clarified the rumours.
Appearing on Busted Open Radio, Bischoff stated that although he would love to be a part of wrestling more, he is unable to commit to the schedule due to the travelling. However, Bischoff also added that he would be open to working with the stars of the company:
“It’s something I wish I could do in a way, but I love where I live, and I’m not a big fan of traveling. If there’s anything I’d be passionate about, though, it would be working with talent.”
No more Bischoff wrestling appearances have been announced at this time.

The confrontation between Williams and Holland ended in dramatic fashion as Holland slammed the NXT Champion onto the announce table, resulting in Williams being stretchered out of the arena. Later in the night, General Manager Ava confirmed that Williams would still be in action at NXT Deadline to defend his championship. At Deadline, Williams was successful in his latest title defence.
