Drew McIntyre WWE Contract Update

Drew McIntyre

Drew McIntyre’s contract remains the talk of WWE.

2024 is the year when many top stars are looking to secure new deals as their contracts are set to expire. While stars such as Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch are looking to secure new deals, fans are most interested in what decision McIntyre will make in the near future. It is widely believed that the former WWE Champion is signed until shortly after WrestleMania.

As McIntyre is being advertised for a Live Event after his reported contract expiration, there was the belief among many that The Scottish Warrior had signed a new deal.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer stated that despite McIntyre being advertised for events in May, no new contract has been signed. However, there is a belief that an agreement will be reached:

Drew McIntyre was announced for a show in May in Italy. Obviously his contract is up in April, so the first question was has he signed a new deal? The answer to that is no he has not signed a new deal, but he seems very happy so far with his new character and he’s really excited about it. They are working with the idea that he’s not going anywhere, but nothing is signed. The talk of him taking a lot of time off and everything like that, probably not. He’ll probably sign a new deal, but it’s still just a probable until it happens.

Drew McIntyre Looking To Repeat WrestleMania Success

Drew McIntyre will travel to Australia for the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event on February 24th. Part of the Men’s Chamber match, The Scottish Warrior is a strong favourite to win the match and face World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins at WrestleMania. McIntyre will be hopeful that he can repeat the success of 2020 with a big title win at Mania, but this time with fans in attendance.
