Drew McIntyre is back in WWE and has already set his sights on his next rivalry.
Following a heated confrontation between CM Punk and Seth Rollins in the opening segment of the December 2nd episode of Raw, a match between Rollins and Sami Zayn was made official for the main event of the show. Prior to the match taking place, Jey Uso was seen attacked backstage, leading to Zayn believing that Rollins was responsible.
During the match, Zayn attempted to use a chair on Rollins but was stopped by the referee. Rollins picked up the surprise victory after rolling up Zayn. After the match, Rollins once again told Zayn that he did not attack Uso. As a dejected Zayn remained in the ring, the former Intercontinental Champion was attacked by a hooded figure, revealing himself to be McIntyre. McIntyre stood over Zayn to close out the show.
