WWE star Drew McIntyre has given the fans more information concerning his status for SummerSlam this weekend after travel issues threw plans into uncertainty.
Less than a week before the Premium Live Event is scheduled to take place in New Jersey, McIntyre informed fans that due to a pasport issue, he was stuck in the UK and could not get back on his scheduled flight to the United States, resulting in his wife making the journey on her own.
On July 30, McIntyre posted a follow-up video on social media, confirming that the issue has been resolved and that he will be in action at SummerSlam on August 2. The 3-time World Champion first stated that his phone had been blowing up with people messaging him about what happened before addressing the issue. After first taking shots at The Miz, who offered to be McIntyre’s replacement tag team partner, Logan Paul appeared in frame and joined McIntyre in confirming that they would team together at SummerSlam against Randy Orton and singer Jelly Roll, who will be making his in-ring debut on the show.

Continuing, McIntyre joked that it was Jelly Roll who caused the passport issue, adding that Logan Paul has powerful friends and sent the jet to ensure he had an ally for the match this Saturday. With the issue resolved McIntyre is also set to appear on the go-home SmackDown on August 1, which will officially kick off SummerSlam weekend.
