Dominik Mysterio Provides Update On Injury Suffered On WWE Raw

Dominik Mysterio

Dominik Mysterio continues his road to recovery.

Towards the end of April, The Judgment Day member appeared onscreen during an episode of Raw with his arm in a sling and was unable to compete in his scheduled match that night. Unfortunately, Dominik Mysterio’s injury was a legitimate one and it is unknown when he will be cleared to compete again. Thankfully, Mysterio would later announce that he did not require surgery so his time away from the ring will not be an extended absence.

Appearing on The Masked Man Show, the former Tag Team Champion gave an update on the nature of the injury and the next steps:

“Arm is good. It’s healing up good. I had a slight tear in my Tommy John ligament, which was kind of a freak accident in the wrestling world because it’s a baseball injury. About six to eight weeks. I’ve been doing two times a week for rehab. I’m just trying to get healthy and get back out there to help Judgment Day so they can physically start hurting again,”

Mysterio has continued to make televised appearances on Raw despite being injured.

Dominik Mysterio Among Many WWE Injuries

Unfortunately, Mysterio is not alone in terms of WWE stars dealing with injuries. Multiple Superstars have been sidelined in recent weeks and many have also required surgery, meaning their return date remains unknown. The latest star to be announced as injured was Ivar, who was also pulled from a tournament as a result.

Features of Wrestling continues to wish Dominik Mysterio a full and speedy recovery.

H/t to Fightful.
