Dave Meltzer has reviewed AEW Dynasty.
As published in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Meltzer has given his thoughts on each match that took place at the inaugural Dynasty pay-per-view and rated each one accordingly.
The highest-rated match was the match of the year contender between Will Ospreay and Bryan Danielson, which was rated 6.5 stars. According to Meltzer’s ratings, this is the highest-rated match in AEW history and the 2nd highest since ratings began.
The show was also a newsworthy one as multiple championships changed hands on the night, including Swerve Strickland becoming the new AEW World Champion and The Young Bucks becoming the new Tag Team Champions.
