Cora Jade saw her most recent match brought to a premature end with many concerned for her wellbeing.
Competing against recent signee Jordynne Grace on the March 4th episode of NXT, the match was halted when Jade was driven into the corner. As Grace looked to continue the attack, Jade said something to the referee and Grace backed off. The referee then threw up the X signal and a member of the medical team checked on Jade. Shortly afterwards, Jade walked out of the ring with medical staff and ring announcer Lilian Garcia declared that the former Women’s Tag Team Champion was unable to continue due to injury, making Grace the winner.
The incident where the injury occurred has been removed from the Netflix broadcast.
Later that night, Jade posted on social media that her knees were ok but she got rocked in the match:
“Got rocked for a sec but my knees are all good (decentđź’€) Thanks for the concern”
Jade has previously dealt with knee injuries having missed the latter half of 2024 due to a torn ACL.
Cora Jade Set For Major TNA Match
Over the past few weeks on WWE and TVA TV, Jade has confronted Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich. On a recent episode of Impact it was announced that Jade would challenge Slamovich for the title on March 14th.
