The final AEW Dynamite before Revolution with a contract signing and more taking place on the show.
With AEW Revolution taking place this Sunday, the show focused on the final build to the pay-per-view on March 9th. With Swerve Strickland and Ricochet set to have their rematch at Revolution, both men met face to face on Dynamkite to sign the contract and make their second match official, which will also crown a new number one contender to the World Championship in the process.
Additionally, Cope was in action against Wheeler Yuta, looking to take out another member of The Deathriders in the process.
Excalibur, Tony Schiavone and Ian Riccaboni were the commentary team for the show.
The Following Results Took Place On AEW Dynamite:
- The show officially kicked off with the contract signing between Swerve Strickland and Ricochet. Both men exchanged words and insults before Strickland vowed to end Ricochet at Revolution. Ricochet attempted to hit Strickland with a sneak attack with the scissors but Strickland attacked Ricochet with a pair of scissors of his own.
- Will Ospreay, Will Hobbs, Orange Cassidy and Mark Briscoe defeated Brian Cage, Lance Archer, Mark Davis and Bryan Keith. Ospreay was beat down by Mark Davis and Kyle Flecther after the bell.
- Cope defeated Wheeler Yuta and showed respect to Teh Deathrider after the match.
- Adam Page nearly ran over MJF. Chasing MJF into the arena, Page attempted to attack MJF but MJF got the upper hand. MJF then attempted to light Page on fire before security led him away.
- Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford defeated Kris Statlander and Thunder Rosa
- Adam Page defeated Max Caster in seconds.
- Ricochet and Kazuchika Okada defeated Swerve Strickland and Brody King.
