Cody Rhodes is in agreement with the UK fans regarding a future WrestleMania being held in the country.
Despite the fact that UK fans have been very appreciative of multiple Premium Live Events taking place in the past few years, they still await an announcement regarding the Premium Live Event. While SummerSlam took place at Wembley Stadium more than 30 years ago, there is hope now more than ever that a UK Mania could actually happen. With continuous teases including Triple H and Nick Khan meeting up with London Mayor Sadiq Khan about the possible collaborative project, fans are continually teased that an official announcement may one day drop.
Speaking with James Dawson of BBC News Manchester, Rhodes was the latest to hint that something could materialise as he agreed that a show in the country would be great, adding that multiple venues could be sufficient for the show:
“If I’m aiming, it would be cool to get it [in the UK] in the next five years. There’s some really big venues over here that could host a WrestleMania,” adding, “I think American fans would jump at the chance to come to a WrestleMania [overseas], whether that that be in Manchester or London, I think they’d go nuts for it.”
Continuing, Rhodes also referenced the comments made by John Cena back at Money in the Bank 2023 where the Hollywood star first teased the UK fans that a future WrestleMania could actually happen:
“When the greatest of all time, as we like to call John [Cena], goes out there and says it, it almost wills itself into existence. I’m very much looking forward to watching that situation unfold.”

With Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia being the next Premium Live Event on the calendar, the Undisputed Champion already knows his fate. While the title will not be on the line, Rhodes will face off against World Heavyweight Champion Gunther to determine a Crown Jewel champion of champions. Rhodes will appear on the October 14th episode of Raw to confront Gunther about the match.
