CM Punk has made his decision and has made some enemies in the process.
As seen on the December 11th edition of WWE Raw, Punk was asked to make his decision on which brand he will be a part of moving forward.
Punk recalled how he made his debut in Cleveland, Ohio and his journey from OVW to being a main event star. Addressing what happened 10 years ago, Punk told the story of how he walked out of WWE in 2014 and apologised for letting the fans down.
Addressing which brand he would sign with, Punk stated that he wanted to right the wrongs of a decade ago and signed his Raw contract. While the fans were happy, the World Heavyweight Champion was not.
CM Punk & Seth Rollins Meet Face-To-Face
The segment was interrupted by Seth Rollins, who has been very vocal regarding how much he does not want Punk back in WWE. The crowd were electric from the opening stare down as both men did not say a word for an extended period of time.
Rollins kicked off proceedings by “welcoming” Punk to Raw and reminded Punk that he is fortunate to be in a WWE ring, but should not call it his home. Rollins continued, stating that Punk abandoned WWE and tried to tear it down when he left by slandering the roster.
The Visionary doubled down on his comments, blatantly telling Punk “I hate you.” However, Rollins did state that as it is Punk’s last chance, he is there to watch the self destruction, verbally or physically.
Punk responded that he has never asked to be handed anything and declared his entry into the Royal Rumble, making it clear that he will challenge Rollins when he wins.
