Charlotte Flair has chosen her champion to face at WrestleMania 41 in April.
After winning the Royal Rumble at the start of the month, Flair confronted each of the champions and teased facing them at WrestleMania. After speaking with Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley, NXT Women’s Champion Giulia and WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton, Flair made the announcement on the February 14th SmackDown.
In the penultimate match of the show, Tiffany Stratton put the title on the line against Nia Jax. The match ended in DQ when Candice LeRae interfered in the match, leading to Trish Stratus coming to the aid of the Women’s Champion. However, Stratus was also taken out by Jax, leading to the heels standing tall before being taken away by security. With Stratton still down, Flair sat down on a chair in the middle of the ring and stated “The Queen chooses you”, confirming that Stratton vs. Flair will take place in Las Vegas in April.
Charlotte Flair Confirms WrestleMania Match
With Flaier making her decision, 2 matches are now official for WrestleMania 41. The other match was confirmed earlier in the week as Jey Uso chose World Heavyweight Champion Gunther as his champion of choice for the show. Uso won the Men’s Royal Rumble match, last eliminating John Cena.
