A casket match has been added to the line-up for week 2 of the WWE NXT Revenge special, which will air on April 21.
During the week 1 special, Blake Monroe spoke with General Manager Robert Stone and demanded an opportunity at Tatum Paxley’s Women’s North American Championship. Stone agreed, but only if Paxley could pick the stipulation. Later that night, Paxley announced that her title would be defended in a casket match, which will end when one of the wrestlers is placed in a casket and the lid is closed.
Additionally, former NXT Champion Joe Hendry will be in action as he will take on Keanu Carter. The match was put together when Carter interrupted Hendry’s concert, bloodying the Scottish star in the process.
The new matches join previously announced bouts that will see former friends Sol Ruca and Zaria collide in a last woman standing match, along with Dion Lennox challenging Myles Borne for the North American Championship.
