Bryan Danielson Delivers Heartfelt Message to Fans, Thanks Tony Khan And AEW Along With Promise For WrestleDream

Bryan Danielson spoke to the fans after AEW Dynamite went off the air to deliver a heartfelt message and a promise ahead of WrestleDream.

Bryan Danielson has issued a heartfelt message to the fans thanking Tony Khan and AEW.

Following the main event of the 5th anniversary episode of AEW Dynamite, where the World Champion successfully defended the title against Kazuchika Okada, the Blackpool Combat Club attacked Danielson before Wheeler Yuta made the save. While the show went off the air setting up a tag team match next week between Danielson & Yuta and Claudio Castagnoli & Pac, The American Dragon was not done.

Appearing in a digital exclusive after the show concluded, Tony Khan first appeared in front of the fans in Pittsburgh to thank them for continuing to support AEW and to thank Danielson. Giving thanks of his own, The American Dragon showed his admiration to Khan, AEW and those in the back as they have made the company what it is today. Noting that he could have remained with WWE for life, Danielson closed out by saying that he chose AEW as it has the best wrestlers in the world and vowed to kick Moxley’s head in at WrestleDream:

“First of all, I’d like to thank Tony Khan. Without him, AEW wouldn’t be here. You wouldn’t have an alternative. It is better that AEW exists for the wrestlers, for the production people, and for professional wrestling fans. I first wrestled in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, 23 years ago. I don’t know if you guys remember, but you were the crowd that made me into a WrestleMania main eventer [laughs]. So I just wanted to say thank you, Pittsburgh. Last but certainly not least, I want to thank all the men and women in the back because they’re the ones who made this place so great that I had a lifetime job at WWE, and I chose to come here because there were the best wrestlers in the world, the best fans in the world, and this is the best wrestling company in the world. Next week, check out WrestleDream because at WrestleDream, in Tacoma, Washington, I am gonna kick Jon Moxley’s fucking head in,”

Bryan Danielson Prepares For War At AEW WrestleDream

Following the successful title defence against The Rainmaker, Danielson will next put the title on the line against former ally Jon Moxley at WrestleDream on October 12th. Moxley has vowed to end Danielson’s career and attempted to take out the World Champion for good at All Out when he suffocated his former friend with a plastic bag. The last time both men met one on one at Revolution 2022, Moxley was the victor.

H/t to Fightful.
