Bryan Danielson Addresses In-Ring Status Following AEW All In: Texas Cameo

Bryan Danielson has clarified where things stand regarding a possible AEW in-ring return following his recent appearance at All In: Texas.

Making a surprise appearance in the main event of the show, which saw Adam Page and Jon Moxley go to war in a brutal Texas Death match, The American Dragon took out Wheeler Yuta while wearing a Blue Panther mask, unmasking afterwards to reveal his identity and continuing his attack on The Deathriders to assist Page with the numbers disadvantage.

The appearance was the latest in a series of onscreen cameos for Danielson, all of which have seen the former World Champion get physical despite previously stating that he is not cleared. With Danielson yet to have a proper match in nearly a year, many fans are anticipating a positive update soon.

Appearing on The Nikki and Brie Show, Danielson first admitted that he did not run all of his moves by the medical team:

Brie: “I need to know, were you supposed to do the moves you did?”

Danielson: “Well, some of them I had cleared, some of them I did not.” “But I was feeling it!” he added while laughing.

Later in the show, Brie brought up that she had been inundated with messages asking whether her husband was back in action, to which Danielson responded that he is not:

Brie: “I got all these text messages. People are like, ‘Is Bryan back?’ And I’m like, ‘Well, to my knowledge no, but we’ll see when I talk to him tonight.’”

Danielson: “No, I’m not back.”

What’s Next For Bryan Danielson In AEW?

Although Danielson has clarified that he will not be having a return match anytime soon, the former World Champion remains involved in the promotion and has been backstage at multiple events while also promoting the shows in media interviews. It still remains unknown when or if he will compete again.
