Bronson Reed Issues Statement Following Injury On WWE Raw

Bronson Reed has addressed the fans after suffering an injury on the latest episode of WWE Raw.

Reed was in a match with Jey Uso and “The Original” El Grande Americano on the February 23 episode of Raw. However, Reed suffered a torn biceps in the match, which reportedly was when he dove to break up a pin during the triple threat. Later on Raw, commentary announced that Reed would be out of action indefinitely.

Taking to social media to thank the fans, Reed promised to be back better than ever, and would pick up where he left off:

“Appreciate the kind words. Ill be back better than ever, causing destruction like no one else can!”

Bronson Reed Injury Alters WWE Plans

The match where Reed suffered the injury was an Elimination Chamber qualifying match. Following Raw, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline reported that Reed was originally meant to win the match and qualify for the Chamber. However, as Reed was unable to finish the match, the last-minute switch was made to have Uso win and advance to the Premium Live Event on February 28.

Given that Reed has been prominently featured as part of The Vision faction, it was expected that the Australian star was going to be in a featured match at WrestleMania 42. However, as Reed is now sidelined until further notice, plans will have to change once more.

Reed is the latest member of The Vision to suffer an injury. The other 2 injuries saw Seth Rollins hurt his knee during his Crown Jewel match with Cody Rhodes, followed by Bron Breakker requiring emergency hernia surgery.

Reed has either undergone surgery for the injury or it is imminent. There has been no word on how long the Raw star will be out of action for.

Features of Wrestling would like to wish Bronson Reed a full and speedy recovery.
