Bron Breakker recently underwent surgery and is out of action for the foreseeable future.
As reported by Dave Meltzer in the F4WOnline Daily Update, Breakker “had surgery for a serious hernia” and added that there is “No word on how long he’ll be out.” The former Intercontinental Champion’s last match was a very brief one, as he was an entrant in the 2026 Royal Rumble. Entering the match at number 2, Breakker was attacked by a masked figure before he could get in the ring. The Vision member was then thrown into the ring and eliminated by Oba Femi a few seconds later.
On the next episode of Raw, an irate Breakker stormed to the ringside area and tore the announce desk apart before other members of The Vision stepped in to calm him down. After Raw General Manager mocked Breakker’s Rumble performance, the second-generation star eventually left the arena without further physicality ensuing.
Bron Breakker Plans Changed Due To Surgery?
Prior to the update regarding surgery, it was previously reported that at one point, Breakker was considered to win the Rumble, which would have earned him a World Championship match at WrestleMania 42. While this is speculation, it is unknown if the surgery factored into plans changing.
There is currently no word on Breakker’s direction for WrestleMania or if he will recover in time for the event.
