Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns both made their returns to WWE as part of a chaotic ending to Raw that had major implications for Survivor Series: WarGames on November 29.
In the main event segment of the November 17 Raw, Paul Heyman introduced 4 members of his team for the WarGames match, Bron Breaker, Bronson Reed, Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre. After declaring that his team would win at the upcoming Premium Live Event, CM Punk interrupted with The Usos and Cody Rhodes standing alongside the World Heavyweight Champion.
All 8 men brawled in and around the ring until Lesnar’s music hit. Lesnar and Punk brawled with Lesnar getting the best of the World Champion with multiple suplexes, and doing the same to Cody Rhodes shortly afterwards.
In the closing moments of the show, Reigns’ music hit and The OTC stood face to face with Brock Lesnar once again. Reigns hit Lesnar with a Superman punch before security finally arrived to restore order until Bronson Reed returned to attack Reigns. The closing angle of the show saw Reigns spear Reed through the barricade.
While not confirmed, it looks all but official that Lesnar and Reigns will be a part of each of the WarGames teams at Survivor Series.
Lesnar was last seen at Wrestlepalooza when he squashed John Cena, and Reigns was last seen at Crown Jewel when he lost to Bronson Reed.
The History Between Brock Lesnar And Roman Reigns
Reigns and Lesnar have battled multiple times over the past 10 years, which also included a trilogy of matches at WrestleMania. Their first meeting was back at WrestleMania 31, which saw Seth Rollins crash the party and cash in his Money in the Bank contract to escape with the WWE Championship in what was dubbed “the heist of the century.” After Lesnar defeated Reigns at Mania 34, The Tribal Chief slayed The Beast in the main event of Mania 38 in a winner take all match. The pair have also fought at SummerSlam and in Saudi Arabia.
