The betting odds have been revealed for multiple matches set to take place at the July 12 WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event special, including Goldberg’s final match.
The Hall of Famer is set to step into the ring one final time as he challenges Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship in his hometown of Atlanta, Georgia. While it is tradition for the veteran to end their final match on a loss, Goldberg has teased that there may be more to come should he defeat Gunther and win a 5th World Championship.
However, for those expecting a shocker from Goldberg, the WCW legend does not look set to emerge the victor in his hometown. According to Bet Online.ag, Gunther is listed as the -450 favourite heading into the title match while Goldberg’s odds are +275.
The other 2 matches with odds listed sees Seth Rollins as the heavy favourite over LA Knight, as The Visionary’s -550 outweighs The Megastar’s +375. Additionally, the returning Drew McIntyre is the -200 favourite over Randy Orton, whose odds are +150.
Fourth Match Added To July 12 WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event
Following the odds being released, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis announced that new United States Champion Solo Sikoa would put his title on the line against Jimmy Uso.
The updated card for the next Saturday Night’s Main Event special, which will air live from Atlanta, is as follows:
- Gunther (c) vs. Goldberg – Singles match for the World Heavyweight Championship. This will also be Goldberg’s retirement match
- Randy Orton vs. Drew McIntyre
- Seth Rollins vs. LA Knight
- Solo Sikoa (c) vs. Jimmy Uso – Singles match for the United States Championship
WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event will air live on Peacock in the United States and on YouTube internationally.
