Bayley Addresses Possibility Of Missing Another WrestleMania

WWE star Bayley has opened up about the fact that she may be left off a WrestleMania card for the second year in a row.

Despite being one of the most tenured women in the company and having won multiple accolades during her career, there is currently no clear direction for the former Women’s Champion when it comes to the biggest show of the year. Additionally, as both Women’s Championship matches have been set, there are fewer spots for Bayley to get onto the card.

While speaking with Busted Open Radio, Bayley was asked if she was nervous about being left off the card in 2026:

“I don’t know if it’s nervous or more anxious and a little furious. I feel with Lyra not qualifying for Chamber and myself not qualifying for Chamber that there’s still hope and that there’s something that we can do as a team. That’s something that we’ve been pushing since last WrestleMania, and that was obviously taken from us. If it were to come to that and we had an opportunity as a tag team, I think that might be a nice full circle moment. But I’ve taken a few losses in my day, so I kind of just move on. You got to do what you got to do. It all depends on how you react to things.”

Bayley is one of 6 women who will compete in a gauntlet match on the March 9 episode of WWE Raw. Whoever is the last woman standing will challenge AJ Lee for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship at a later date.

Why Did Bayley Miss WrestleMania 41?

Bayley and Lyra Valkyria were originally set to face Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez for the Women’s Tag Team Championships at the 2025 event. However, Bayley was written out of the match with a storyline injury, and was instead replaced by a returning Becky Lynch. However, at WrestleMania 40, Bayley defeated IYO SKY to win the WWE Women’s Championship after winning the Women’s Royal Rumble match earlier in the year.
