AJ Lee Wins Women's Intercontinental Championship At Elimination Chamber

In her first singles match in more than a decade, AJ Lee won big at Elimination Chamber in Chicago.

Competing at the February 28 Premium Live Event, Lee defeated Lynch to capture the Women’s Intercontinental Championship for the first time in her career. The match saw Lynch accidentally take out the referee and tap out to Lee’s Black Widow hold, but the official was not able to call the finish. Lynch took advantage of the referee being down by hitting Lee with a ManHandke slam onto a chair, but Lee kicked out.

The end of the match saw Lee drive Lynch into an exposed turnbuckle before locking in the Black Widow, forcing Lynch to tap.

It should also be noted that the referee for the match was Jessika Carr, with whom Lynch has had storyline issues with over the past few months. It is likely that on the next episode of Raw, Lynch will protest the Elimination Chamber result and Carr’s officiating.

AJ Lee Remains Undefeated Since WWE Return Following Elimination Chamber Win

Lee is now 3 for 3 on wins since her 2025 return. The former Divas Champion first picked up a victory after her and husband CM Punk defeated Lynch and her husband Seth Rollins at Wrestlepalooza. Later in the year, Lee secured the victory for her team in the Women’s WarGames match at Survivor Series, once again making Lynch submit.
