AEW Revolution 2026 Predictions

AEW Revolution 2026 Predictions

AEW looks to once again kick off the year strong with its first pay-per-view of 2026, Revolution.

A high-stakes match will headline the show as Adam Page will face MJF in a Texas Deathmatch for the World Championship. If Page is unable to capture the title from his rival, he will never be able to challenge for the top prize in All Elite Wrestling again.

Additionally, the latest match in the FTR and Young Bucks rivalry is set, along with Brody King set to face former World Champion Swerve Strickland and Thekla will put her Women’s Championship on the line against the woman she beat to win the title, Kris Statlander.

AEW Revolution 2026 Predictions:

Willow Nightingale (c) vs. Lena Kross – Singles Match For The TBS Championship

Nightingale is set to pull double duty at Revolution as she will be defending her Women’s Tag Championships with Harley Cameron late in the night. As this is on the pre-show and the first of 2 matches, expect to see Nightingale retain here. However, the same may not be said for later in the night.

Winner: Willow Nightingale

Ricochet Defends The National Championship In A Battle Royal

With 20 other opponents, the odds are not necessarily in Ricochet’s favour here. However, as the title needs more prestige and once again this is a pre-show match, Ricochet feels like the favourite in this one.

Winner: Ricochet

Thekla (c) vs. Kris Statlander – 2 Out Of 3 Falls Match For The AEW Women’s Championship

Two things are almost guaranteed in this match: it will finish 2-1, and Thekla will retain her title. It feels far too soon to have The Toxic Spider drop the championship at this stage and there are a lot more challengers for Thekla before this reign comes to an end.

Winner: Thekla

FTR (c) v. The Young Bucks – Tag Team Match For The Tag Team Championships

Another meeting between 2 of the top tag teams in AEW. Currently, it feels like the team that will dethrone Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler will be the returning Adam Copeland and Christian Cage. While Cope and Cage could make their return here following a lengthy absence to attack FTR after the match, it feels that the champions will be retaining their titles here.

Winners: FTR

Brody King vs. Swerve Strickland

King has seen a spike in popularity in early 2026, and was a firm fan favourite in Australia to dethrone MJF at the Grand Slam special. King has been elevated to the main event scene, and needs a bin to continue his momentum. Strickland is already established and can bounce back from a loss, but this needs to be King’s night.

Winner: Brody King

The Babes Of Wrath vs. Megan Bayne And Lena Kross – Tag Team Match For The Women’s Tag Team Championships

Although Nightingale is coming twice in one night, so is Kross. The story of the match will be how much does each woman have left going into their matches, and there will be some points where it appears that a title change could take place. That being said, now is ot the time to dethrone the babyface tag team, as there is a lot more mileage in the inagural champions.

Winners: Babes Of Wrath

The Don Callis Family (Kazuchika Okada, Kyle Fletcher, & Mark Davis) (c) vs. Místico and JetSpeed (“The Jet” Kevin Knight & “Speedball” Mike Bailey) – Trios Match For The AEW Tros Championship

As Fletcher, Davis and Okada have only just won the Trios Titles, it feels way to early to have them drop the championships here, especially as these 3 members of the Family are more of a cohesive unit. Mistico will give fans a great showing and it is likely to be full speed from the opening bell, but don’t expect to see a title change hands here.

Winners: Kazuchika Oakda, Kyle Fletcher and Mark Davis

Jon Moxley (c) vs. Konosuke Takeshita – No Time Limit Match For The Continental Championship

There is a very strong chance that this could be the match of the night when all is said and done at Revolution. Moxley has been putting on consistently great matches since he won the Continental Title, including his time limit draw with Takeshita. Although The Don Callis Family currently hold a lot of the gold in All Elite Wrestling, it doesn’t feel like Takeshita will be adding to that list. With The Deathriders implosion still yet to happen, Moxley still has some time left as champion.

Winner: Jon Moxley

Andrade El Idolo vs. Bandido

Another possible contender for match of the night and potentially the contest to set up a rematch down the road. El Idolo is looking to make a statement after departing WWE, while also potentially putting himself in contention for a future opportunity at Bandido’s ROH World Championship. Expect a big win from El Idolo here to set up a future title match.

Winner: Andrade El Idolo

Marina Shafir vs. T0ni Storm – Everyone Is Banned From Ringside

Shafir and The Deathriders have been on the receiving end of a lot of defeats lately, and a win over the former Women’s Champion would help to cement Shafir as a credible threat, especially as she doesn’t have backup. That being said, AEW could go with the safe route of having Storm pick up the win, but Shafir would benefit from the victory a lot more.

Winner: Marina Shafir

MJF (c) vs. Adam Page – Texas Deathmatch For The AEW World Championship

This is MJF’s opportunity to retain the World Championship, beat Adam Page at his own game, and prevent Page from challenging for the Triple B ever again. Given that the odds are so stacked against him, it is likely that MJF will overcome the odds and put to an end one of his biggest rivalries. Whether it be via interference or Page’s rage getting the better of him, MJF looks set to remain on top of All Elite Wrestling.

Winner: MJF
