AEW Dynasty 2025 Predictions

AEW Dynasty 2025 Predictions

Jon Moxley puts the World Championship on the line and more at AEW Dynasty, which will air live from the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

While Moxley escaped with the title at the end of Revolution, the World Champion was attacked by Strickland after the main event. For Strickland, the former World Champion is looking to win the title back one year on from the start of his first reign.

Additionally, Kenny Omega will make his first defence of the International Championship against new signee “Speedball” Mike Bailey and Ricochet while Women’s Champion Toni Storm will put her title on the line against Megan Bayne.

AEW Dynasty 2025 Predictions

Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta And PAC (c) vs. FTR And Cope For The Trios Championships

Could this be the beginning of the downfall of The Death Riders? With the group having few defences of the Trios Titles and in need of some storyline progression, a major loss could further things between the trio and leader Jon Moxley. Additionally, this could be payback for Rated FTR given the events that took place at the street fight. However, as FTR dissension is clear, this will be another victory for the champions.

Winners: The Death Riders

Kenny Omega (c) vs. Ricochet vs. “Speedball” Mike Bailey For The International Championship

Very likely to be the match of the night, all 3 will put on a great display from an in-ring standpoint with a heel Ricochet likely being the one to be isolated by the babyfaces. As this is Omega’s first defence of the title, it’s unlikely that a title change will take place here. Expect Omega to hold onto the title until All In at least.

Winner: Kenny Omega

Toni Storm (c) vs. Megan Bayne

AEW have slightly booked themselves into a corner with this one. On one hand Storm has just won the title, but Bayne has been on a dominant run and shouldn’t lose. There could be a convoluted finish or perhaps a non finish but Storm will walk out as champion.

Winner: Toni Storm

Chris Jericho (c) vs. Bandido In A Title vs. Mask Match For The ROH Championship

This looks to be the end of Jericho’s title reign. As it is very unlikely that AEW will book an unmasking given that it is Bandido’s persona, expect a new World Champion to be crowned on the show. There is also the possibility of failed interference from The Learning Tree, leading to more issues between the faction and possibly foreshadowing a break-up.

Winner: Bandido

The Hurt Syndicate (c) vs. Big Bill And Bryan Keith For The AEW Tag Team Championships

The Hurt Syndicate are still in the early days of their reign and Chris Jericho is still angry at Big Bill and Bryan Keith for not proving themselves as winners. This will be a straightforward defence for Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin with some uncertainty due to the power of Big Bill. MJF may confront the champions after the match but there won’t be a title change here.

Winners: The Hurt Syndicate

Daniel Garcia (c) vs. Adam Cole For The TNT Championship

Ad both men went to a time limit draw in their previous encounter, the rematch will see no time limits and no interference allowed to determine a true winner. While Garcia is a great wrestler, his TNT title run has been underwhelming. It’s time for a title change and for Cole to elevate the championship as part of The Undisputed Kingdom.

Winner: Adam Cole

Will Ospreay vs. Kevin Knight In The Men’s Owen Hart Tournament

There is no way that Ospreay is being eliminated from the Owen Hart Tournament in the opening round, A strong favourite to emerge as the overall winner and almost guaranteed to make it to the final, this will be the first of many Ospreay wins on the road to All In.

Winner: Will Ospreay

Mercedes Mone vs. Julia Hart In The Women’s Owen Hart Tournament

Much like Ospreay, Mone is not being eliminated from the tournament anytime soon. Another strong favourite to win the tournament and looking to add the Women’s Championship to her collection, Mone will advance to the next round at Dynasty and will likely make it to the final at the very least.

Winner: Mercedes Mone

Jon Moxley (c) vs. Swerve Strickland For The AEW World Championship

One year on from his first victory and looking to revisit the rivalries with both Adam Page and Ricochet, there is a strong case for Strickland to win this one and save AEW. However, there is a looming feeling that Mox will keep hold of the title until All In, potentially dropping it to Will Ospreay.

Winner: Jon Moxley
