AEW Dynamite Winter is Coming returned on December 11th with a title match, a shock return and more.
Presented as one of the special episodes of Dynamite, Winter is Coming saw Mariah May put the Women’s Championship on the line in the main event. The show also saw the continuation of the Continental Classic and World Champion Jon Moxley in action.
Excalibur, Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness served as the announce team for the show.
The show also began the build to the Worlds End pay-per-view with multiple matches made official for the show.
The Following Results Took Place On AEW Dynamite: Winter Is Coming:
- Jon Moxley and Pac vs. Jay White and Orange Cassidy ended in disqualification when Adam Page interfered. A brawl ensued with Page, White and Cassidy standing tall
- Christian Cage cut a promo in the crowd but was attacked by Hook.
- Will Ospreay defeated Claudio Castagnoli in the Continental Classic Gold League
- Adam Cole defeated Kyle O’Reilly and will face MJF at Worlds End. MJF attempted to interfere but Cole fought him off
- Ricochet defeated Brody King in the Continental Classic Gold League
- Mariah May defeated Mina Shirakawa to retain the Women’s Championship. After the match, Toni Storm made her return in her old persona to stare down May
