Multiple title matches took place on the March 4 episode of AEW Dynamite, which saw new champions crowned on the show.
Kicking off the broadcast, World Champion MJF put his title on the line against Kevin Knight. Whoever emerged victorious would go on to face Adam Page for the Triple B at Revolution. Additionally, Thekla put her Women’s Championship on the line against Thunder Rosa, and the Trios Championships were also up for grabs.
The show also saw the televised debut of The IInspiration.
Excalibur and Tony Schiavone were on commentary for the show.
AEW Dynamite Results March 4:
- MJF defeated Kevin Knight to retain the AEW World Championship.
- Orange Cassidy and Darby Allin defeated Clark Connors and Gabe Kidd. After the match, David Finlay arrived and attacked the winners.
- The Brawling Birds defeated The IInspiration in a very quick match.
- Adam Page defeated Marty Snow in a matter of seconds. After the match, Page was attacked by The Don Callis Family, and it was revealed that Kazuchika Okada, Kyle Fletcher and Mark Davis would challenge for the Trios Championships in the main event.
- Jon Moxley defeated Hechicero.
- Brody King called out Swerve Strickland, but Prince Nana appeared instead. Strickland hung King with a chain, and accepted King’s challenge for Revolution.
- Thekla defeated Thunder Rosa to retain the AEW Women’s Championship.
- Kazuchika Okada, Kyle Fletcher and Mark Davis defeated Adam Page and JetSpeed to become the new AEW Trios Champions.
