MJF gave his answer and more on AEW Dynamite.
At the start of the month, MJF was approached by MVP, who made an offer for the former World Champion to become a part of The Hurt Syndicate and in the process, potentially gain the title back. After having 2 weeks to think things over, MJF gave his answer to MVP on the show.
Additionally, International Champion Kenny Omega was in action ahead of his title defence at AEW Dynasty on April 6th and AEW Women’s Champion Toni Storm was also in action.
Excalibur, Tony Schiavone and Taz were the announce team for the show.
The Following Results Took Place On AEW Dynamite:
- Kenny Omega defeated Blake Christian. After the match, Omega was confronted by Mike Bailey in person and Ricochet via video. Omega vowed to win at Dynasty and stared down Bailey.
- A frustrated Chris Jericho issued the challenge to Bandido for a mask vs. title match down the road.
- MJF told MVP that he wanted to hurt people but was interrupted by Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin. Lashley tore up the business card and MJF left the ring. Big Bill and Bryan Keith then demanded a tag title match but were told to win a match first.
- Kyle Fletcher defeated Brody King.
- Powerhouse Hobbs defeated Mark Davis.
- Cope, Cash Wilder, and Dax Harwood appeared in a backstage interview. Harwood stated that he walked out as they put Cope’s goals ahead of FTR’s, only for Cope to fail to win the World Championship. A Trios match between The Deathriders and Rated FTR was annnounced for Dynasty.
- Swerve Strickland called out Jon Moxley. As Claudio Castagnoli and Marina Shafir appeared at ringside, Strickland had backup in the form of Prince Nana and Willow Nightingale. Moxley fled.
- Top Flight won a squash match.
- Konosuke Takeshita defeated Mark Briscoe.
- Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford defeated Toni Storm and Thunder Rosa.
