Line-Up Announced For AEW Dynamite

The fallout from Revolution and more took place on the latest episode of AEW Dynamite.

The March 9th pay-per-view kicked off AEW’s event calendar for 2025 and saw multiple match of the year contenders such as Will Ospreay vs. Kyle Fletcher and Toni Storm vs. Mariah May. After defeating Konosuke Takeshita at Revolution, new International Champion Kenny Omega appeared live to celebrate his victory. Later in the show, a tournament began which will crown the next number one contender for his title.

Also announced on the show, MJF appeared live and Willow Nightingale faced Penelope Ford.

Excalibur, Tony Schiavone and Taz were the commentary team for the show.

The Following Results Took Place On AEW Dynamite:

  • New International Champion Kenny Omega kicked off the show. Omega thanked the fans, admitted that he didn’t think he would ever be a champion again and also thanked Konosuke Takeshita. Omega stated that he wanted to face the best as his next challenger.
  • The Opps defeated Pacifico, Eli Theseus, and Gabrial Ares.
  • It was announced that Jon Moxley would have a rematch for the World Championship next week in a street fight. Swerve Strickland announced that he would challenge for the title at Dynasty.
  • Powerhouse Hobbs and Hologram defeated Brian Cage and Dralistico.
  • Toni Storm acknowledged her victory at Revolution and told someone to step up. Storm was attacked by Megan Bayne.
  • “Speedball” Mike Bailey made his debut as the “Wild Card” in the International Title Tournament. Bailey defeated The Beast Mortos.
  • MJF addressed his loss to Adam Page at Revolution. MVP interrupted and offered MJF a Hurt Syndicate business card. MJF at first refused but later accepted the offer when he was reminded by MVP that he was a former World Champion.
  • Max Caster hosted an open challenge which was answered by Konosuke Takeshita. Takeshita defeated Caster.
  • Willow Nightingale defeated Penelope Ford. Ford attacked Nightingale after the bell. Kris Statlander attempted to make the save but both were attacked by Megan Bayne.
  • Will Ospreay admitted he was banged up but would return, adding that he would be an entrant in the Owen Hart Cup.
  • Orange Cassidy defeated Hechicero by to advance in the Dynasty Eliminator Tournament.
