The road to Revolution continued and more on AEW Dynamite.
With AEW Revolution taking place on March 9th, more matches were made official for the pay-per-view as the International Championship was on the line as Konosuke Takeshita defended against Orange Cassidy. Whoever won the match would advance to Revolution and would put the title on the line against Kenny Omega.
Additionally, Will Ospreay was in action against Bryan Keith and Adam Page was in action.
Excalibur, Tony Schiavone and Taz were the announce team for the show.
The Following Results Took Place On AEW Dynamite:
- As the announce team ran down the card for the evening, Cope was seen arriving in an ambulance, vowing to take out more of The Death Riders on his way to Revolution after previously taking out PAC on Collision. MJF also appeared via video and stated that the only letters that mattered to him now were MJF and not AEW.
- Adam Page defeated Aaron Solo. After the match Page called out MJF who emerged with a bloody towel. MJF then revealed a bloodied Christopher Daniels on the big screen.
- Will Ospreay defeated Bryan Keith. Ospreay attempted to charge Kyle Fletcher after the match but security intervened.
- The Outrunners defeated The Murder Machines thanks to a distraction from The Hurt Syndicate. The Outrunners are now the new number one contenders to the Tag Team Championships as a result.
- Swerve Strickland and Ricochet agreed to a rematch at Revolution, which will see the winner become the new number one contender to the AEW World Championship.
- Undisputed Kingdom defeated FTR and Daniel Garcia.
- Cope attacked Claudio Castagnoli before Wheeler Yuta and Marina Shafir intervened. Jay White and Willow Nightingale intervened with Cope and Nightingale delivering con-chair-tos to Castagnoli and Shafir.
- Harley Cameron defeated Deonna Purrazzo.
- Konosuke Takeshita defeated Orange Cassidy to retain the International Championship. Takeshita will defend the title against Kenny Omega at Revolution.
