Line-Up Announced For AEW Dynamite

The fallout from Dynasty, the continuation of the Owen Hart Cup and more took place on AEW Dynamite.

At Dynasty, Jon Moxley defended the World Championship against Swerve Strickland thanks to an assist from The Young Bucks. Out for revenge, Strickland was in action on the show against PAC from the Death Riders. Additionally, another match in the Women’s Owen Hart Cup took place as Kris Statlander faced Thunder Rosa.

Excalibur, Tony Schiavone and Taz were the announce team for the show.

The Following results Took Place On AEW Dynamite:

  • Following a video package featuring The Death Riders, Jon Moxley vs. Katsuyori Shibata officially kicked off the show. Moxley defeated Shibata. The Young Bucks appeared after the match but were interrupted by Kenny Omega. Omega cut a promo and was ready to attack The Bucks but Kazuchika Okada interrupted. Swerve Strickland made the save.
  • Swerve Strickland called out The Young Bucks before being attacked by PAC. Strickland defeated PAC. There are also concerns that PAC picked up an injury in the match.
  • Will Ospreay, Mark Briscoe, Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight def. Ricochet, The Beast Mortos, Lio Rush and Action Andretti in the $400,000 8 man tag match.
  • MJF interrupted The Hurt Syndicate’s celebration. MJF acted like he was in the group but was once again rejected.
  • Kris Statlander defeated Thunder Rosa in the Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament.
  • Bryan Keith and Big Bill told Chris Jericho that they were sick of being disrespected. Jericho responded that he was disappointed and would be going away for a while.
  • Hook and Samoa Joe defeated Wheeler Yuta and Claudio Castagnoli Hook was attacked after the match.
