The first AEW Dynamite of 2024 saw the fallout from Worlds End take place.
Starting the new year off strong, AEW promised an update from Samoa Joe, who became the World Champion at Worlds End. There was also an advertised appearance from Adam Cole, who was revealed to be The Devil at Worlds End.
The Following Results Took Place On AEW Dynamite:
- A video from Samoa Joe opened the show, where Joe addressed his championship victory. The video was pre-recorded at Worlds End
- Adam Cole, Roderick Strong, Matt Taven, Mike Bennett and Wardlow came to the ring and introduced themselves as The Undisputed Kingdom.
- Orange Cassidy defeated Dante Martin to retain the International Championship
- Mariah May defeated Queen Aminata in her AEW debut. After the match, May was interrupted by a debuting Deonna Purrazzo
- Christian Cage gloated about his victory over Adam Copeland at Worlds End
- Konosuke Takeshita defeated Darby Allin
- Trent Beretta defeated Brian Cage, El Hijo Del Vikingo and Bryan Keith to earn a future opportunity at Eddie Kingston’s Continental Championship
- Swerve Strickland defeated Daniel Garcia in the main event of AEW Dynamite.
