The final AEW Dynamite before AEW Revolution.
An era came to an end on Dynamite as Sting appeared live on weekly TV for the last time as an active competitor. On March 3rd, Sting will compete in his final match, teaming with Darby Allin to defend the tag titles against The Young Bucks.
7 days prior, Adam Page appeared to have picked up an injury in the main event. Page addressed his injury and whether or not he could make it to Revolution was addressed.
The Following results Took Place On AEW Dynamite:
- Adam Page came to the ring with the use of a crutch. Page stated that he would not be able to compete at Revolution due to the injury. Swerve Strickland interrupted and said that he respected Page for all that he had done, but he would be the champion at Revolution. World Champion Samoa Joe interrupted, with Page revealing that it was all a ruse and attacked Strickland to stand tall.
- The Blackpool Combat Club defeated Eddie Kingston and FTR
- Orange Cassidy defeated Nick Wayne to retain the International Championship
- Will Ospreay made his first entrance as a full-time member of the AEW roster
- Skye Blue defeated Kris Statlander
- Chris Jericho defeated Atlantis Jr.
- Ric Flair and Darby Allin both attempted to attack The Young Bucks, but The Bucks had baseball bats to get the advantage. Sting descended from the rafters to allow Allin, Flair and Sting to stand tall and end the show.
