The road to Dynasty continued on AEW Dynamite.
With AEW announcing Will Ospreay vs. Danielson for the Dynasty pay-per-view, Ospreay looked to prove he was ready for The American Dragon as he faced Katsuyori Shibata on Dynamite. Additionally, multiple tag teams looked to advance in the AEW Tag Team Championship tournament.
The new number one contender for the TBS Championship was also crowned as a 4-way women’s match took place on the show.

- Will Ospreay defeated Katsuyori Shibata
- The Young Bucks defeated Private Party to advance in the AEW Tag Team Championship tournament
- Willow Nightingale defeated Anna Jay, Skye Blue and Kris Statlander to become the new number one contender for the TBS Championship. Nightingale will challenge Hart at Dynasty.
- Best Friends defeated the Undisputed Kingdom to advance in the AEW Tag Team Championship tournament
- Swerve Strickland defeated Konosuke Takeshita to become the new number one contender to the AEW World Championship. Strickland will challenge Samoa Joe at AEW Dynasty.
