New Matches Announced For AEW Dynasty

AEW Dynasty

A dream match has been booked for AEW Dynasty.

The March 6th episode of AEW Dynamite saw the fallout of Revolution take place. Competing in the main event of the show, Will Ospreay defeated Kyle Fletcher in a critically acclaimed main event. After the match, Bryan Danielson confronted Ospreay to close out the show, signalling that the two would clash in the near future.

During the March 9th episode of AEW Collision, Danielson defeated Shane Taylor. Returning the favour from Dynamite, Ospreay came to the ring after the bell to speak to The American Dragon. Ospreay praised the match that just took place before getting down to business. Complimenting Danielson for still still able to perform at a high level, The Ariel Assassin went on to say how Danielson has been an inspiration for him.

Addressing what was next, Ospreay discussed the aforementioned interruption on Dynamite and what it meant. Danielson responded that he was really impressed with Ospreay’s match with Konosuke Takeshita at Revolution but took notice of Ospreay saying that he was the best wrestler in the world. Danielson challenged Ospreay to a match at AEW Dynasty, which Ospreay accepted.

More matches were made official on the March 27th episode of Dynamite. With Willow Nightingale being victorious in a 4-way match on the show, Nightingale will challenge Julia Hart for the TBS Championship. Additionally, with Swerve Strickland being victorious in the main event after defeating Konosuke Takeshita, Strickland will get one more show at Samoa Joe’s AEW World Championship.

During the taping for the April 6th episode of AEW Collision, the finals were set for the AEW Tag Team Championship tournament. With a rivalry being reignited once more, The Young Bucks and FTR will once again battle it out with the vacant titles on the line.
