New World Champion Adam Page to compete against Wheeler Yuta and more on the July 23 edition of AEW Dynamite.
At All In: Texas, Toni Storm was victorious in her defence against Mercedes Mone, handing the CEO her first singles loss in AEW in the process. While the July 16 episode of Dynamite was supposed to be time for Storm to celebrate, the champion was soon interrupted by Athena, who earned the opportunity at a future title match by winning the Women’s Casino Gauntlet match. After sending the warning to Storm, it was later announced that Storm would take on Athena’s protégé Billie Starkz on the show.
Additionally, World Champion Adam Page is set to be in action in what will be his first singles match since winning the title at All In: Texas. Page’s opponent will be Wheeler Yuta of The Deathriders.
The special will also run in conjunction with Shark Week.
