A face-to-face between MJF and World Champion Adam Page and more has been announced for the August 13 episode of AEW Dynamite.
By winning the Men’s Casino Gauntlet match back at All In, MJF is entitled to a World Championship opportunity against World Champion Adam Page. Closing out the August 6 edition of Dynamite, MJF defeated Mark Briscoe in the main event and continued the assault after the bell until Page made the save. On Dynamite, Page and MJF will meet in the ring for a face-to-face, where MJF may announce when he is looking to get his title match, or is hoping to provoke Page into giving him a title match while keeping his own shot for another time. It should be noted that it still hasn’t been clarified if the opportunity will be one that is announced ahead of time, or whether MJF has the same option as Christian Cage did to cash in at any time, similar to that of the WWE Money in the Bank contract.
Additionally, Adam Copeland will be in action against FTR’s manager Stokely Hathaway as the animosity between the Hall of Famer and the tag team continues. If FTR get involved in the match, their no-contact clause with Copeland will be null and void, meaning that The Rated R Superstar can attack FTR at any opportunity once again.
Once again looking to pick up a victory, former World Champion Jon Moxley will take on Kevin Knight.
