The August 30th episode of AEW Dynamite finds itself sandwiched between two pay-per-views.
The show will focus on the fallout from All In while also building to All Out on September 3rd.
Uncharacteristically for the promotion, little has been announced for the show, with only one match and one segment advertised ahead of time. At the press conference after the pay-per-view, Penta confronted International Champion Orange Cassidy and requested a title shot. It was announced that Penta would first have to face Jon Moxley, with the winner being next in line for Cassidy’s title.
Also announced is an in-person appearance by Adam Cole, who had a mixed night at All In. Beginning the night by being crowned the new Ring of Honor Tag Team Champion with MJF, Cole would fail to win the big one in the main event, being bested by his best friend. Cole will discuss what’s next for him on Dynamite.
While not announced, there is a possibility that new AEW Women’s Champion Saraya and new Trios Champions The Acclaimed may make an appearance.
The confirmed line-up for AEW Dynamite is as follows:
- Orange Cassidy (c) vs. Penta – Singles match for the International Championship. The winner will defend the championship against Jon Moxley at All Out.
- Adam Cole to speak after the All In main event
