At Double or Nothing, Mercedes Mone became the new TBS Champion in what was her debut match for the promotion. Looking to keep the festivities going on Dynamite, a celebration segment has been booked for the show. Following the TBS Title match, former champion Willow Nightingale was attacked by Kris Statlander. Stokely Hathaway and Statlander will explain their actions on the show.
With AEW next on PPV for Forbidden Door, a Casino Gauntlet match has been announced that will see the next challenger determined for AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland, who retained the title at Double or Nothing. Also at the pay-per-view, Chris Jericho walked out of Las Vegas still the FTW Champion. Jericho will present the first ever TV Time segment on the show.
