An AEW Dynamite and Collision double header took place on May 20.
Ahead of his title match against MJF, which also has MJF’s hair at stake, World Champion Darby Allin defended the gold against Mike Bailey. Additionally, Chris Jericho teamed with The Young Bucks as part of the build to Stadium Stampede, which will return at Double or Nothing on Sunday.
As this was also the final show before Double or Nothing, the build to the pay-per-view was the main focal point of the show.
AEW Dynamite & Collision Results May 20:
- Ricochet, Mark Davis and Andrade El Idolo defeated Chris Jericho and The Young Bucks. A brawl ensued after the match featuring all the Stadium Stampede entrants.
- Mark Briscoe defeated Tommaso Ciampa in an anything goes match.
- Tony Schiavone introduced Swerve Strickland, but Bandido attacked Strickland as he was making his entrance.
- Jon Moxley vs. Kyle O’Reilly went to a time limit draw.
- Athena and Triangle of Madness defeated The Brawling Birds, Mina Shirakawa and Thunder Rosa.
- Darby Allin defeated Mike Bailey to retain the AEW World Championship.
- Will Ospreay defeated Katsuyori Shibata.
- Rush won a squash match.
- Divine Dominion also won a squash match.
- FTR defeated The Conglomeration.
