All Elite Wrestling have once again been able to achieve a viewership of over one million viewers for Dynamite. The August 4th Homecoming edition saw an average audience of 1.102 million viewers. The figures have been obtained from Brandon Thurston at Wrestlenomics:

The one million plus viewers for Dynamite: Homecoming edition means that each of the four special versions of AEW’s flagship show have drawn 7 figure viewings. The following is the audience numbers of the past 4 editions of Dynamite:
- July 14 Episode:Â 1.025 million viewers [Fyter Fest Night 1 episode]
- July 21 Episode:Â 1.148 million viewers [Fyter Fest Night 2 episode]
- July 28 Episode:Â 1.108 million viewers [Fight for the Fallen episode]
- August 4 Episode:Â 1.102 million viewers [Homecoming episode]

Along with strong viewing figures, the key demographic numbers for Dynamite have also been a success for the company. Roughly 593,000 people aged 18-49 watched Homecoming, obtaining a rating of 0.46.
AEW Dynamite Homecoming was the second most watched show on Wednesday in the 18-49 age range, only being beaten by The Olympic Games in that age bracket:

A block of Olympics programming on the USA Network from 8pm-12am finished #1 in the demo (averaging 598,000).
The main event of the show saw the in-ring debut in AEW for Malakai Black, formerly known as Aleister Black in WWE. Black squashed Cody Rhodes in a short match to close the show. Post match, Rhodes also teased a possible retirement from wrestling:
Along with the in-ring headlines, a notable commercial also aired during Dynamite. Pabst Blue Ribbon aired a new advertisement featuring wrestlers to promote their beer. This follows on from backlash received from previous advertiser Dominos Pizza following an unfortunately placed commercial on a previous episode of Dynamite.
