Running it back to where it all began, AEW Double or Nothing marks 6 years since the company’s first pay-per-view.
Set to take place in Glendale, Arizona on May 25th, Double or Nothing will officially kick off the build to All In as the finals of the Owen Hart Cups will take place. With Will Ospreay set to take on Adam Page and Mercedes Mone set to face Jamie Hayter, the winners will advance to All In: Texas in July and face their respective World Champions.
Additionally, the show will see the return of the chaotic Anarchy in the Arena match, which is expected to be a violent affair with a lot of bloodshed.
AEW Double Or Nothing Predictions
Megan Bayne And Penelope Ford vs. Anna Jay And Harley Cameron [Pre-Show]
Harley Cameron has been doing some of the best work of her career in 2025 with many entertaining moments showing off her wide variety of talents. With Mercedes Mone tied up in the Owen Hart Foundation final, whoever wins this one could serve as a placeholder feud for the TBS Champion on the road to All In.

Mercedes Mone vs. Jamie Hayter – Women’s Owen Hart Cup Final
Mone looks to be on course for a match against Toni Storm at All In as part of a champion vs. champion match. Arguably one of the strongest booked stars in the whole company, Mone’s momentum is expected to continue to Texas with an Owen Hart Cup set to be added to her accolades.
Winner: Mercedes Mone
Mark Briscoe vs. Ricochet – Stretcher Match
It will be interesting to see how bloody and violent this match gets considering that Anarchy in the Arena will headline the show. Yet to win a championship in nearly a year in AEW, this feels like another landmark victory for Ricochet as he goes on to potentially challenge for the TNT title at All In.

FTR vs. Daniel Garcia And Nigel McGuinness
Although McGuinness has proved that he can still go in the ring, in storyline he is an announcer and teaming with Garcia against the established tag team, that is FTR. With Cope expected to make his return at the show, this will likely be a victory for the heel FTR but will see the babyfaces stand tall when all is said and done.

“Timeless” Toni Storm vs. Mina Shirakawa For The AEW Women’s Championship
Although Shirakawa and Mone have history and could add to the storyline for their All In match, it still feels too early for Storm to be losing the title. Storm vs. Mone looks to be locked in for Texas, but it is still unknown whether Mariah May will make her return at this show given her own history with Storm and Shirakawa.

Kenny Omega, Swerve Strickland, Willow Nightingale, Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Katsuyori Shibata vs. Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Marina Shafir, Wheeler Yuta, and The Young Bucks – Anarchy in the Arena
Given the line-up and the rumoured interference spots, this could be the best iteration of Anarchy in the Arena AEW has ever done. While it is hard to predict what specifically will happen given the way these matches play out, a lot of bloodshed and crazy spots is guaranteed. Gabe Kidd will no doubt interfere as he has made multiple appearances on Dynamite, which may also lead to the return of Eddie Kingston after more than a year away. With Jon Moxley expected to lose the World Championship at All In, this could be the final hurrah for The Deathriders.

Kazuchika Okada (c) vs. “Speedball” Mike Bailey For The Continental Championship
Another candidate for match of the night, but with a predictable outcome. Okada looks set to keep hold of the title for a bit longer given how strongly he has been booked, potentially until All In. While this could lead to a rematch or a series between the two, The Rainmaker isn’t being dethroned here.

Paragon vs. The Don Callis Family
With Adam Cole currently reigning as the TNT Champion, it’s likely that when all is said and done the champion will have a clear indication of who his next challenger will be. The Don Callis Family need a big win as Konosuke Takeshita, Kyle Fletcher and Josh Alexander have all suffered major losses over the past few weeks. With Flecther yet to win AEW gold, there is a strong case to be made that he will pin Cole and set up a rivalry leading into All In or a Dynamite sepcial.

The Hurt Syndicate (c) vs. Dustin Rhodes And Sammy Guevara For The Tag Team Championships
While the result is a given, the curiosity lies in how MJF will factor into the match, if at all. Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin will pick up the victory in what could effectively be a squash match, but the newest member may also provide a massive assist to allow the champions to retain. Additionally, the former World Champion could continue the beatdown on the challengers after the bell to make a statement.

Will Ospreay vs. Adam Page – Men’s Owen Hart Cup Final
While many expected All In 2o24 to be the year that Ospreay won the World Championship, it looks to be an inevitability in 2025. In what will likely be the match of the night, Ospreay looks set to defeat Page despite possible interference from The Don Callis Family. Many are expecting Ospreay to win at Double or Nothing, win the World Championship at All In and walk into Forbidden Door as the champion. Judging by recent developments, this could well be a possibility.
