AEW and NJPW will bring Forbidden Door to the UK in 2025.
Announced during the All In pre-show, the crossover pay-per-view will take place in London on Sunday, August 24th. The venue for the show is still to be confirmed. This will be the 4th iteration of Forbidden Door to take place following the previous 3 shows taking place in Chicago, Toronto and Elmont.
The show promises the biggest stars from All Elite Wrestling and New Japan facing off in dream matches and the top championships on the line. The 2024 show saw Tetsuya Naito defeat Jon Moxley to retain the IWGP Heavyweight Championship.
It should also be noted that ahead of time the announcement was spoiled when fans in the Wembley area spotted graphics for Forbidden Door 2025 that were put up prematurely.
AEW Announces Another International Show For 2025
Keeping the announcements rolling, the promotion confirmed its first Australian show around 30 minutes before the London announcement. With a show likely taking place in Canada next year, this will mark the first year that the company has hosted 3 major shows outside of the United States in a calendar year.
