The date for the AEW Championship match between champion “Hangman” Adam Page and challenger Bryan Danielson has been set. Page will defend his title against Danielson at the Winter is Coming special of Dynamite, which will take place on Wednesday December 15th. The news was broken on social media by AEW president Tony Khan:

This will be the first defence of the title for the champion. “Hangman” Adam Page won the AEW World Championship by defeating Kenny Omega at the Full Gear pay-per-view. Full Gear was also where Bryan Danielson earned the number one contender status by being victorious in the final of the AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament.
At the time of writing, this is the only match announced for the Winter Is Coming Dynamite special. It should be noted that the AEW World Championship changed hands on the 2020 edition of Winter Is Coming, where Kenny Omega defeated Jon Moxley to capture the world title.
